356 new cases confirmed in S. Korea on Sat., mainly due to fewer tests conducted Updated: 2021-03-01 08:55:00 KST

The daily number of new cases here in South Korea has dropped into the three hundreds -- the exact figure three-hundred and 56, but only because fewer tests were carried out over the weekend.
The daily number of cases has been between three-hundred and four-hundred for the past week.
And most of them are still cluster infections, especially at workplaces and factories.
In fact, 19 out of 71 cluster infections that emerged in the last two weeks are at factories.
There were eight new deaths, raising the total death toll to over 16-hundred.
