Blackpink's second full-length album "Born Pink" has become the first album by a K-pop girl group to sell more than 2 million copies.
The group's agency said Thursday that the new record was set just two days after the album's release according to data from Circle Chart.
This figure includes local sales and exports to North America and Europe, and is expected to increase once first-week sales are added.
Hanteo Chart reports that Born Pink sold roughly 1.34 million copies in the first six days after its release.
The difference comes from how each chart calculates sales.
The lead track from the album, "Shut Down," has topped Spotify's Global Top 50 chart for five days in a row since Saturday.
