South Korea and China will discuss ways to cooperate on North Korea's nuclear issues and the stabilization of supply chains in bilateral talks scheduled for next week.
Following a visit to Cambodia for the annual meetings of ASEAN, South Korea's Foreign Minister Park Jin said on Saturday that he is likely to urge his counterpart Wang Yi to help Seoul build positive relations with Pyeongyang while strengthening cooperation to restrain the North from nuclear tests.
The Minister also said he would ensure the U.S.-led Chip 4 alliance will not exclude China's supply chain.
Meanwhile, Park reiterated that the sessions in Phnom Penh had been an opportunity for Seoul to state the Yoon administration's efforts for closer ties with ASEAN, adding that the allies agreed to expand cooperation in a range of sectors, such as trade, diplomacy, and security.
