President Yoon Suk-yeol says South Korea is fully preparing against North Korea's military developments as the regime has approved measures to bolster its "war deterrent."
On his way to the top office Friday, Yoon said his government is "thoroughly" preparing response measures as it monitors developments in North Korea, adding he needs to hear more information about the details.
Wrapping up a three-day party meeting on Thursday, North Korea approved key defense policies, -- including ways to further strengthen "war deterrent" and a reshuffle of its military organizations, according to the regime's state-run media.
There was no mention of a nuclear bomb test, which is deemed by many watchers as imminent.
