Employment figures in South Korea are continuing to see improvement.
According to the finance ministry on Friday, the number of people employed jumped by more than 30-thousand in a month and was close to 28.1 million in April.
That's an on-year increase of 865-thousand.
Unemployment also dropped 1 percentage point to three percent.
Consumer sentiment has also improved with the index ticking up point-6 points from the month before to 103.8 in April.
With consumer sentiment and the job market seeing improvements, the South Korea economy does seem to be heading in a positive direction.
But conflict in Ukraine and disrupted supply chains overseas mean a grim outlook for exports, investments, and inflation remains.
