North Korean leader Kim Jong-un is demanding military educators nurture commanding officers to be "absolutely loyal" to the Workers' Party.
The move seems aimed at strengthening national unity and military discipline due pandemic-linked internal issues.
The regime's state media said Kim presided over a gathering of military educators last weekend and told them military education has to ben strictly guided by party ideology.
There was no mention of the North's nuclear force or any reference to another country.
The meeting was the eighth of its kind and the second since Kim took power.
