Boosters may be expanded to include those aged 18 to 49 in S. Korea Updated: 2021-11-23 11:38:45 KST

South Korea's health authorities want to expand the reach of COVID-19 vaccinations reach to stem the rise in infections and critical cases.
A senior health official says younger adults 18 to 49 may also need boosters, and rollouts for them may start next year.
She also added authorities may look into setting an expiration date for the vaccine pass, only allowing it for people who had their latest shot within the past several months.
Authorities are also recommending that children and teenagers get vaccinated and are looking into expanding vaccine passes to places where students visit after school.
