South Korea today reported another one-thousand four-hundred-23 new cases of COVID-19, keeping the daily figure below two-thousand for 16 straight days now.
Case numbers have been on a steady decline the daily average last week dropping to the 13-hundreds from the 15-hundreds the week before.
As for vaccines, as of Sunday morning, seventy.one percent of the population have now been fully vaccinated and 79.four percent have gotten at least one dose.
On Monday, South Korea will hold a public hearing on plans for "Living with COVID-19," where the authorities will be soliciting feedback on ways to ease the social distancing measures while staying vigilant in stopping the virus.
Detailed plans, set to be announced on Friday, will be implemented from November first.
