Good afternoon, I am Lee Jeehyun with the latest weather update, reporting from World Cup Park in the west of Seoul. People keep asking me if we are skipping right into the winter. Well we are going through rollercoaster temperatures for sure, but I can tell you there won't be any dramatic changes in the weather over the next 10 days. I hope you are enjoying the brilliant view of World Cup Park filled with silver grass. By the end of the month and in early November the capital region will be painted with orange, gold and brown.
We had low single digits to start the day, Paju in Gyeonggi-do Province was just above freezing, but by the afternoon, it will hike up to the mid-teens leading to big temperature gaps under blue skies for most areas.
But rain clouds are moving towards the east coast so if you are in that area you will need your raincoats.
5 to 30 millimeters of precipitation is in store. There won't be much rain, but it could linger into tomorrow along with thunder and lightning.
Highs will be similar to yesterday, Seoul at 16 degrees, Daegu at 18 degrees Celsius this afternoon.
We can expect fine late autumn weather this weekend but wide gaps between lows and highs will continue so bear that in mind.
The air is getting dry so if you plan to head out hiking to enjoy autumn colors, be careful with anything that could cause a fire. That's Korea for you, here's look at the weather conditions around the world.
