Blue House holds National Security Council meeting on Thur. to discuss end-of-war declaration Updated: 2021-09-23 19:47:25 KST

South Korea today held a National Security Council meeting to discuss officially declaring an end to the Korean War which President Moon Jae-in proposed during his UN General Assembly speech.
At the nation's top office, members of the NSC discussed ways to resume negotiations with the relevant countries in order to achieve the goal as soon as possible.
Earlier on Tuesday, President Moon had urged world leaders that three parties the two Koreas and the U.S., or four parties including China as well should come together and declare that the war on the Korean Peninsula is officially over.
