South Korea's vaccination campaign has slowed in recent weeks due to supply issues with Moderna.
However, South Korean health authorities said on Sunday that Moderna will be sending seven million doses over the next two weeks.
About one million doses will arrive at Incheon International Airport in the coming hours.
The remaining six million starting the following week until early September.
With the additional supply, around 36 million people are expected to have gotten their first doses before Chuseok, the country's Thanksgiving holiday in late September.
Earlier, Moderna had said it'd have to cut the expected 8.5 million vaccine doses this month to less than half that due to production issues.
That's all from me for now, I'll be back with updates in a later newscast. Mok-yeon
