Alexander Zverev has taken the gold in men's singles tennis marking the highest point of his career to date.
The German star, who ranks number five in the world, beat Russian Karen Khachanov, ranked 25 in the world, relatively comfortably in two sets to claim the title.
Prior to this he brought fans one of the biggest upsets in Tokyo 2020 as he beat Novak Djokovic the world number one who was looking for the grand slam in a calendar year title.
After gold medal match, he showed his emotions by crying into his hands as he became only the second ever German to win gold in Olympics tennis after Steffi Graf.
