Israel to send S. Korea about 700,000 doses of Pfizer vaccine by end of July Updated: 2021-07-06 13:39:33 KST

Israel is going to send South Korea 700-thousand doses of the Pfizer vaccine under the two countries' vaccine swap deal, and South Korea will send back the same amount as soon as September.
The deal has been confirmed by South Korea's top infectious disease expert, Jeong Eun-kyung, and Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said in a statement that it's a win-win deal.
Both countries have seen a rise lately in new coronavirus cases.
