Featuring laser lights and music, skies in China lit up for party celebrations.
Marking the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China, the metropolises of Shanghai and Chongquing on Tuesday staged light shows.
The events featured lights that constantly changed colors, as some 300 buildings were lit up on both sides of the Huangpu River in Shanghai,the birthplace of the CPC.
Luminous drones were also in action.
The Shanghai Greenery and Public Sanitation Bureau said it represented the history of the Party and the country's development.
