Two South Koreans have been appointed as provincial government ministers in Ontario, Canada.
The Korea Times Daily in Canada reports that Raymond Cho has been re-appointed as the Minister of Seniors and Accessibility a position he first began in 2018.
Cho immigrated to Canada in 1967 and later earned a social work doctorate degree at the University of Toronto before starting a career in politics with the city council.
The second is Stan Cho who is the newly-designated Associate Minister of Transport the second most powerful person in the ministry.
Ontario has a larger population than Seoul and is the political and economic center of Canada.
