Good morning. It's Summer Solstice today, the longest day of the year. It won't be as hot as yesterday, notice how hot it was with Daegu nearing 34 degrees, top readings will be a couple of degrees lower under mostly sunny skies across inland regions.
Many regions in the east will be seeing rain due to atmospheric instablity while east of Gangwon-do Province will see rain into early tomorow but when it doesn't rain, skies will stay bright.
Morning temperatures are on the comfortable side hovering around 20 degrees Celsius in most regions. Jeju is beginning the day at 21 degrees.
The highs in Seoul and Chuncheon will be 27 degrees, Daejeon and Gwangju will soar to 30 degrees this afternoon under sunny skies. Don't forget your sun protection items.
Passing rain in store for the next couple of days then sunny skies and summer heat returns at the end of the week.
