French energy giant Total is suspending payment of all cash dividends to Myanmar's state-owned oil and gas group, which is believed to finance the country's military junta.
The firm said the decision followed a shareholder vote earlier this month.
The Financial Times quotes a source who said the dividends were around 350 million U.S. dollars in 2020.
Shareholders of the Myanmar Oil and Gas Enterprise include America's Chevron and Thailand's state-owned oil and gas company.
