There are many young DJs these days, but so far no one beats this 9-year-old from Dubai.
Meet DJ Michelle, the youngest contestant to ever compete in the DMC World DJ Championships.
It's an event hosting 85 DJ stars from across the world who show off their scratching and mixing abilities.
Michelle came in 14th place behind her dad who finished 9th in this year's competition.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year's contest was held virtually.
"I can't imagine my life without music, I can't. Like, from the very start, from the very beginning when I was really little, I didn't listen to 'Baby Shark' stuff or ABC songs, I listened to Tupac, Chuck D, Jay-Z, B.I.G."
The title of youngest contestant was previously held by Japan's DJ Rena, who was 12-years-old when she participated in the competition.
While her heart is mostly set on her turntabling, Michelle says she is also busy with being a third grader life at school, skateboarding, reading, and hanging out with friends and dogs at her neighborhood park.
