Construction completed on Seoul's Sejong-daero Forest Street, opens to public Updated: 2021-05-06 18:09:54 KST

After nine months, construction has been completed on a new tree-lined street in downtown Seoul for pedestrians and cyclists.
It's called the Sejong-daero Forest Street, and it runs for a kilometer and a half from the Sejong-daeo intersection to Namdaemun and then to Seoul Station.
The roads next to it have been narrowed to make more room on the sidewalk.
It's lined with trees and flowers, and passes by restaurants, cafes and several cultural attractions, so it could help boost the local economy.
