Daily new infections soared to the highest level since January.
How are you observing recent covid developments in Korea?
The European Medicines Agency concluded that the Johnson & Johnson Covid-19 vaccine has possible links to rare blood clot incidents, but benefits still outweighed the risks.
Do you expect Korea to approve the vaccine once it arrives, and to which age group?
Korea is also mulling the use of Russia's Covid vaccine, Sputnik V.
Many experts are skeptical about its safety citing lack of data. What's your assessment?
The co-founder of BioNTech, which developed a covid vaccine with Pfizer, said that people will likely need a third shot of its two-dose vaccine as immunity against the virus wanes.
Do you think booster shots are necessary to enhance protection?
Israel, after vaccinating most of its population, it says it no longer requires people to wear masks outdoors. What are the implications?
Does this give us hope that Korea and other parts of world that it may return to normalcy if we vaccinate enough people within this year?
