The South Korean government has started paying out extra pandemic relief funds to small businesses to supplement the fourth round paid out out last month.
This additional round includes a little over half a million business owners who were not eligible for the fourth round.
The government expanded the criteria to include new businesses that opened between December of last year and February, as well as those affected by bans on personal gatherings and restrictions on their operations.
