Universal Studios Hollywood is back
It became the latest California theme park to reopen for the first time in more than a year, after it was shut down amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
"Oh, so exciting. Finally glad to be back, you know, we feel like we've been inside for so long, but Universal has always been one of the places we love to come to. And we love our movies. Right? So any chance we can get to get back out into the world, we're excited."
The park was open to the public on Friday but season pass holders got the first shot at the newly-configured roller coasters, the updated "Jurassic Park" ride and the new "Secret Life of Pets" ride.
Visitors can enjoy many of the rides and eat at restaurants, although some indoor facilities remain closed.
Disneyland, located nearby, is scheduled to reopen on April 30th, with excited potential visitors waiting long hours online trying to secure tickets.
