South Korea reported 416 new cases of COVID-19 on Sunday, almost the same number as the previous day, though fewer tests are conducted on the weekend.
Of the new cases, 399 were locally transmitted and 17 were from overseas.
The authorities are saying there's the risk of an increase because of people traveling more now that the weather is warming up.
As for the vaccination campaign, another 17-thousand people got their first dose on Saturday, bringing the total number of jabs given so far to almost 315-thousand.
Reports of adverse effects from the shot have risen to almost 37-hundred, most of them mild symptoms like headache or fever.
The number of people who've died after getting their first dose has risen to nine, but no link has been proven.
