Good afternoon. It's Jeongwol Daeboreum, the day when we can see the first full moon of the lunar calendar. It was a chilly start, but readings will rise fast and by the afternoon it's going to feel more like early April so be aware of big temperature differences today and dress accordingly.
Yesterday's rain in the south helped to ease the dryness in the air, but central regions are still under dry weather alerts, while the south coast and Jeju are under strong wind advisories. Be careful with anything that could start a fire.
Jeju, however, will see up to 40 millimeters more rain through the afternoon. Other than Chungcheongnam-do Province, we'll have decent air quality with readings hovering in the mid teens across the country.
The warmth will stay through the weekend then nationwide rain on Monday should bring some much needed relief from the dry air.
That's Korea for you and here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
