The BBC has revealed its list of 1-hundred inspiring and influential women from around the world for 2020 this year particularly highlighting those who are leading change and making a difference during these turbulent times.
Among them is Dr. Jeong Eun-kyeong, the current commissioner of the Korea Disease Control and Prevention Agency.
As a "virus-hunter," the BBC explained that Dr. Jeong has led South Korea's response to Covid-19 and is known for her transparency and the calm she brings to her daily briefings on the pandemic.
