The company home to K-pop boy band BTS has started taking bids from institutional investors for its IPO next month.
From today, Big Hit Entertainment is offering 60 percent of its shares to institutions in the book building process, which will determine the IPO price.
Retail investors will be able to pre-order shares on October 5th and 6th.
The company will then make its debut on the KOSPI in mid-October at an expected price range of 90 to 116 U.S. dollars.
Big Hit Entertainment is one of the most anticipated IPOs of the year, along with SK Biopharmaceuticals and Kakao Games, whose pre-orders both set new records.
