Tesla shares shed as Musk fails to impress investors on Battery Day Updated: 2020-09-24 13:57:42 KST

Shares of electric car maker Tesla plunged more than ten percent on Wednesday despite big promises from CEO Elon Musk on the company's highly anticipated Battery Day.
Musk said the company's battery technology will enable the company within three years to sell an electric car for just 25-thousand dollars and it'll be autonomous.
The plan was short on details, though, and investors were apparently skeptical about the timeline.
Musk has promised an electric car on par with gasonline cars for years.
