Now to the closing numbers on the market,
Wall Street sank Monday, setting the three major indices up to extend last week's sharp declines.
The extended drop came amid concerns over more lockdowns caused by COVID-19, and as political uncertainty nudged investors away from risk assets.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average dropped one.8 percent and the S&P fell around one.2 percent.
The tech-heavy NASDAQ also sank point-one percent to finish at 10,778.8.
Oil prices, fell too, with Brent Crude dropping 3.3 percent.
WTI fell by 3.6 percent to 39-dollars 62-cents a barrel.
