Wall Street advanced on Wednesday, with markets encouraged by some constructive U.S. economic data and slowing COVID-19 infections.
Both the S&P 500 and the tech-heavy Nasdaq sailed to fresh record closes.
The Dow Jones Industrial Average and the S&P 500 both closed around one.5 percent higher.
The NASDAQ added nearly one-percent to finish at 12-thousand 56.
Oil prices fell, with Brent Crude, the international benchmark dropping 2.7 percent.
WTI also shed 2.8 percent to 41 dollars and 58 cents a barrel.
