Seoul's top diplomat stressed the importance of working with China and Japan to minimize the social and economic fallout from the COVID-19 outbreak.
The three sides held a videoconference to discuss the situations in their countries and their experience in fighting the virus.
Kang Kyung-hwa stressed it's crucial for the three countries to not only stop its spread but to maintain civic exchanges and minimize the socio-economic shock.
She added the three sides would further strengthen cooperation to fight the disease in the region and around the world.
The three foreign ministers also supported the idea of holding the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in what they called their "complete form," which is believed to mean delaying the event rather than cancelling it.
