President Moon Jae-in met with foreign diplomats based in Seoul at the Blue House this afternoon.
He asked for their support for his peace drive on the Korean Peninsula and also for the South Korea-ASEAN special summit coming up in November.
At the meeting were around 2-hundred ambassadors and representatives from international organizations, marking the first time President Moon has invited all the diplomats at once.
Previous administrations used to hold such meetings but because of President Moon's busy schedule and overseas trips, the meeting was delayed.
Japanese ambassador Yasumasa Nagamine was also there.
But President Moon did not hold separate talks with him or address Seoul-Tokyo relations today.
