Good morning. Torrential rain lashed central parts of the country overnight into dawn rain has slightly tapered off but is still pounding many central regions dropping 30 to 40 millimeters of rain an hour

Heavy rain alerts have been issued across central regions, a rain warning in the capital and surrounding areas as well as a landslide watch by the Korea Forest Service Roads running alongside rivers could be closed at any minute. It's a busy, rough morning for those of us in central parts of the country.

Until tomorrow, central regions and Gangwon-do could see another 200 millimeters of rain, while the south could see 5 to 70 millimeters.
