Good morning. The capital region saw heavy overnight downpours severe weather continues across Korea, right now, parts of central regions are being drenched getting 10 millimeters of rain an hour.
Until tomorrow, central regions could be seeing up to 250 millimeters of rain, again, heavy overnight rain is forecast to pound the country which could lead to road closures due to high water in the capital tomorrow.
For now, the rain advisory has been lifted in most parts except in Sejong and surrounding areas, but a strong wind advisory still remains in place along coastal regions and in the capital, a heat advisory remains in place in Gyeongsang-do Provinces, Daegu and Jeju.
Again, a very warm and humid start to the day in fact, Gangneung in Gangwon-do Province had overnight temperatures hovering around 30 degrees Celsius.
By the afternoon, Seoul will top out at 27, Daegu at 29 but humidity will make it feel muggier.
