Bulgaria is expelling 70 Russian diplomats, calling them a "threat to national security".
The decision was announced by Bulgaria's outgoing Prime Minister on Tuesday over concerns of espionage amid increased tensions over Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
The expulsion is the largest such move by the Balkan country following the expulsion of 10 representatives in March
Less than half of Russia's diplomatic staff in Bulgaria will remain, and Moscow's representation in the country will be limited to just 48 people.
The expelled Russian diplomats have been ordered to leave the country by July 3rd.
