N. Korea's unresponsiveness to Seoul's aid offer comes from conflict with self-reliance: Seoul FM

The foreign minister of South Korea, Park Jin, says that the North's ignoring this week's offer of medical aid is rooted in the regime's ideology of self-reliance, with which the acceptance of aid would conflict.
South Korea's Unification Minister, Kwon Young-se, said further that Seoul needs to be patient and continue to reach out to Pyeongyang.
It's been over a week since North Korea reported its first COVID-19 outbreak.
The total number of people with symptoms of "fever," as the regime calls it, has now surpassed two million.
With two additional deaths reported on Friday, the death toll now stands at 65.
