The UN human rights office expressed deep concerns over North Korea's outbreak.
Officials believe the regime's latest measures, which include putting people under stricter isolation, could have "devastating" impact as they could prevent North Koreans from getting basic needs, such as enough food.
The UN office also urged Pyeongyang to take measures that are necessary and proportionate.
North Korea reported over 230-thousand more people with symptoms and six new deaths on Tuesday.
