Good morning. It was another freezing start to the day with cold wave alerts still in place across much of the country but highs will rise fast and we can expect relief from the freezing cold this afternoon. This morning could be the last freezing cold morning of the season.
Highs will jump 10 to 15 degrees higher than the morning lows with Seoul and Chuncheon at 4 degrees, Daegu and Gwangju will hike to 8 degrees. Mostly sunny skies will dominate much of the country,
But as soon as the relief arrives, the dust level rises. Some western regions will have high levels of ultrafine dust for most of the day while regions in the southeast continue to be under a dry weather advisory.
The warming trend continues for most regions under mostly sunny skies but as you may guess we'll need to brace for high levels of dust while the south coast and east coast could see rain or snow on Sunday.
With that, here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
