Good morning. We are down to the last winter term, Daehan, meaning big freeze. And surely most of Korea is having a biting cold start to the day with a cold wave advisory issued across the nation. Also yesterday's snow helped to ease the dryness in the capital but Gyeongsang-do Provinces and surrounding regions including Busan and Daegu are still under dry alerts.
The snow has mostly let up, Seoul received more than 3 centimeters of snowfall yesterday and east of Gangwon-do Province and Ulleungdo and Dokdo will receive more snow through the morning. Be extra careful on the roads.
Mostly sunny skies will be featured except in the snow affected regions. A freezing start to the day, Chuncheon at minus 14 degrees, Busan at minus 3 degrees.
Highs in Seoul will go up to positive numbersat 2 degrees, Daegu and Jeju topping out at 5 degrees this afternoon.
We could really notice some relief from the cold from tomorrow afternoon, then it will stay warmer than norms for a while.
With that, here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
