Freezing day, dry in east, snow in central regions

Good morning. A cold north-westerly chill blew in to the Korean peninsula overnight. Morning temperatures in most parts were about 10 degrees lower than yesterday morning. Cold wave alerts have been re-issued in central regions, Jeollabuk-do and Gyeongsangbuk-do provinces.
AND in those regions under cold alerts you will also need to drive with extra care as some snowfall is in store from late this afternoon. There won't be much snow, but along with the freezing afternoon temperatures it could cause icy roads.
Dry weather continues in the east and the capital with dry alerts Busan has been under a dry alert for nearly a month and there have been reports of wildfires in Busan, Ulsan and the capital area lately so be extra careful with anything that could cause a fire.
Highs will be 2 to 3 degrees lower than yesterday afternoon, skies will be a little cloudy but with some sunshine before the snow starts to fall.
It looks like it will stay this cold through the end of the week under mostly sunny skies.
With that, here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
