Good morning. We had a deep freeze again this morning, with temperatures in Seoul at about minus 10 degrees. It's colder in northern parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeonggi-do provinces but it's about time we get some relief from these cold temperatures with rises in highs this afternoon.
Highs in Seoul will finally go up to positive territory at 1 degree, Daejeon at 4 degrees. We can expect sunny skies nationwide today.
Meanwhile, dryness continues across the east, Busan has been under a dry alert for 27 days in a row while Seoul is also under dry advisory we need to avoid any activities that involve fire or sparks and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
Tomorrow, we are expecting a light mix of rain and snow in most of central regions from the afternoon, Gangwon-do Province is likely to rget some snow instead.
Winter rain and snow could linger into Sunday morning then another bout of freezing temperatures will return next week.
