We're going to have to bear with these bitterly cold temperatures for one more day. The intense cold wave will make the readings plummet to near minus 11 degrees tomorrow. Overall, temperatures will be cold enough to prolong the cold wave alerts that were recently issued. In fact, by 9PM tonight, advisories will be expanded to further parts of inland regions. Areas with cold wave advisories issued include the Seoul metropolitan area.
Meanwhile, western parts of Jeolla-do Province will see light snowfall overnight. Also, eastern parts of the country are currently under dry weather advisories. For coastlines of Gangwon-do Province, where no rain or snow has fallen for quite some time, dry weather warnings are in place. In fact, forest fire alerts are also issued, so please take extra precautions.
Morning lows will be 1 to 4 degrees lower than today. Daejeon will start off at minus 10 degrees Celsius.
Cold wave conditions will start to ease off by the daytime. Seoul will reach zero degrees. Gwangju 4 degrees. Gyeongju 5 degrees.
For Saturday, central regions including the capital, will see a mix of rain and snow.
That's all for now, and here are the weather conditions around the world.
