Good morning. The air feels nothing like yesterday, it's much colder than the same time yesterday and feels like minus 15 degrees in the capital and highs will also only go up to minus 4 degrees Celsius here in Seoul.

A cold wave advisory has been issued in the parts of Gangwon-do and Gyeonggi-do Provinces with a heavy snow advisory remaining in place in mountainous regions on Jeju with more snow expected there and on the west coast of Jeolla-do Province along with a strong advisory.

Inland regions including Seoul received light flurries so drive with care, mostly sunny skies to start the day except for snow affected regions.

Much improved air quality across Korea, but daytime highs will be 5 to 7 degrees lower this afternoon.

It looks like it will be colder tomorrow and this round of the extreme cold snap will last throughout the week.

With that, here's a look at the weather conditions around the world.
