Good afternoon. Temperatures this morning were at similar levels to yesterday in the capital but the northern areas where a cold advisory is still in place had lows below minus 10 degrees. Highs will rise fast, going up slightly higher than yesterday.
The dust levels in western central regions remain high though including here in Seoul. In fact, these regions could have dusty conditions through to early next week while the east coast will have more dry weather, Busan has been under dry alerts for 20 consecutive days.
Temperature fluctuations and dry weather is ramping up cold and flu activity so stay well. We really don't want to get sick around this time
Daytime highs will be bearable across Korea, Gwangju will go up to 8 degrees. Sunny skies to feature today.
There could be light snow late on Saturday night in central regions, freezing weather returns early next week.
