The South Korean men's national football team today faces the UAE in the fifth match of the final round of Asian qualifiers ahead of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
The match is being held at Goyang Stadium at 8 PM, and with 100-percent capacity allowed for the first time in two years.
All spectators will either be fully vaccinated, or have provided a negative PCR test taken within the past 48 hours.
Star player and captain Son Heung-min is part of the squad, but fellow forward Hwang Ui-jo is out due to a hamstring injury.
South Korea is currently ranked second in Group A, two points behind Iran, while the UAE sits fourth.
A win for South Korea would help the Taeguk Warriors in their bid to qualify for a 10th consecutive World Cup.
