Nuri went above 700 km but dummy satellite didn't reach intended destination

South Korea's first homegrown rocket 'Nuri' went 700 kilometers above Earth earlier today although the dummy satellite it was carrying could not reach its intended destination.
The three stages separated at the right time, and this means the engineers have found which parts they need to develop before the next launches.
Four more launches are already scheduled and the next one is in May next year.
The rocket launch is not a one-time event but rather, just one stage in developing the technology.
So regardless of the result, we have to give encouragement to the engineers and scientists who have worked so hard to develop a space vehicle locally from scratch.
