European football's breakaway Super League has collapsed after the 6 English Premier League clubs involved withdrew just 48 hours after agreeing to join.
Led by Real Madrid, the league announced its formation Sunday in an effort to overhaul European football.
However, the decision was met with protests from fans, players, managers and even governments.
Threats of bans and sanctions resulted in the English clubs pulling out, with Manchester City first and others quickly following suit.
