Despite such calls, in North Korea, however, no references made in regards to inter-Korean or North Korea-U.S. relations.
According to a wire report this morning, North Korean leader Kim Jong-un attended a Workers' Party politburo meeting on Thursday that focused on the COVID-19 situation.
The state-run Korea Central News Agency reported that Kim ordered his party to thoroughly review anti-epidemic measures, this, despite the North reporting zero cases of COVID-19 even as more than 10-million people have infected around the world.
But, no mention of any discussions on inter-Korean relations that have soured over defectors' flying of anti-regime propaganda leaflets into the North as well as the demolition of a liaison office in the border city of Gaeseong.
