Russian President Vladimir Putin is set to win approval from voters that would allow him run for further terms in the office and potentially stay in power until 2036.
Millions of Russians voted nationwide on Wednesday on reforming the constitution.
According to early polls from Russia's Central Election Commission, more than 70 percent of voters approved changing the constitution.
The amendments include boosting pensions and a de facto ban on same-sex marriages.
