Finance ministers and central bankers from G20 countries have agreed to lay out a joint action plan in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, which will outline the individual and collective actions they will be taking.
This comes as they met virtually on Monday to coordinate actions against the worsening coronavirus pandemic.
Although the specific date has yet been disclosed, G20 leaders are due to meet for a virtual summit later this week as the number of global infections surge and more countries intensify lockdown measures.
G7 finance ministers and central bank governors are scheduled to hold their own tele-conference on Tuesday.
