CLUB.KOM showcases the endless possibilities of gugak! In celebration of Children's Day, we present our Children's Day Special, featuring gugak prodigies - Moodong, Choi Eun-woo, and Kim Tae-yeon.
Moodong is a samulnori troupe featuring kkwaenggwari player Lim Hyun-seo, buk player Lim Dong-myeong, janggu player Lim Jeong Ju-yeong, jing sogo player Lim Dong-gwon, and taepyeongso player Kim Seo-hong. Named by Lee Gwang-soo, one of the creators of Samulnori, Moodong refers to "dancing children" in Korean.
Choi Eun-woo is a young pansori singer who is already renowned for her clear and powerful voice. Having swept various pansori awards, she is considered a future leader of gugak.
Kim Tae-yeon is a talented singer excelling at pansori, minyo, and trot among other genres. Her powerful voice has earned her the nickname "baby tiger."
